The Sum of Our Parts is a story about how queer love can heal gender and sexual trauma. Clothes dealers Roseanne and Kelly love each other unflinchingly: she nurses him through gender affirmation surgeries and he bolsters her against reverberations of child sexual abuse. But when the surgeries lag, and Roseanne is upended by the chance for retribution, they must forge new paths—together—or risk it all.
